"comment": "The arcs were omega bands, and most of my observation appeared to be recovery phase, with pulsations almost overhead for awhile. I didn't see any large expansion or retreating of the active band - it seemed to maintain it's size."

"comment": "The moon was almost full, so it was difficult to see much of the aurora except when it was bright. When looking through my photos later, I noticed a faint arc above the aurora much of the time. The moon was to bright to distinguish any color in it, so it just looked white. I have looked through most of the photos, and it does not seem to be from the lens."
