"comment": "I first saw aurora lights on Thanksgiving 2021, and then the November 4th 2021 display. The later was really magical as it was pulsating and is seen overhead. I am not sure if the northern lights make a \"crackling or whistling sound\" but I heard it the whole time while watching the lights. Also, I was curious about the vortex above me at that time that lasted for about 30-40mins as it gave a quite scary feeling. Does aurora borealis usually have or show a \"vortex\" or whirlpool effect during a display? I took photos of what I had seen at the time."
